BERT Award
The new Derbyshire Award for Relationships and Sex Education is called the 'Building Effective Relationships Together Award' (BERT Award).
Quality Relationship and Sex Education supports our children and young people to lead safe, healthy, happy lives.
We are really excited to have received the Bronze award.
The Bert Team gave us some very positive feedback about our work:
"Christina and I really enjoyed your presentation today . It was good to hear about your achievements and commitment to positive relationships and quality RSE across the whole school community. We particularly noted your excellent practice in transition, relationship development with parents, safe spaces, the mighty mouse with the individualised boxes and the buddy scheme you are running.
